The heart of the matter
The Khans, Shad and Tony, have released a statement on what we can expect from All Elite Wrestling, which we bring to you via PWInsider.com.
Shad Khan today confirmed his role as lead investor of the promotion, confirming his expectations.
Shad Khan also confirmed that his son, Tony, will take on the leadership role, but not exclusively - also remaining in his current roles with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Premier League football team Fulham.
Khan also reiterated his involvement and efforts for AEW, stating that it will have his full commitment, despite being an independent project.
Meanwhile, son Tony’s statement - as expected - came from more of a fan’s point of view, as the promotion’s leader opened up on the identity of AEW.
Tony Khan went on to say that the objective of AEW is to “connect our community closer than ever before through All Elite Wrestling” after “a new family has formed, bonded by love and respect for wresting but armed with a vision and resources that have never before been available to the wrestling community.”
Khan reiterated his father’s sentiments around commitment to the promotion, before going on to tell us about what we are all desperate to know - the wrestling side of AEW.
