Alinity hasn’t appeared on a Twitch stream since early this year, and come June 2022, Alinity posted on her personal social media account that she wouldn’t be able to stream for some time. Many fans were left confused, though for those keeping up, it seems to have been due to circumstances outside of her control.

It seems that Alinity’s issues stem from her US work visa, which she recently revealed had been approved. She’s been in her home country of Colombia for some time, and with this announcement, she confirmed that she was returning to the US and would return to streaming in a “few weeks.” Notably, she doesn’t mention Twitch by name, which could mean a move to YouTube Gaming may not be out of the question. After all, many streamers have been flocking there, but she’s more likely to return to Twitch, where her fanbase and her friends are.
Indeed, it’s clear that many of her streaming friends and her fans are excited about her return. The response is nearly overwhelming. However, it does seem at least a handful of respondents are unwilling to forget her past experiences on stream. Alinity is a big name in many ways, one of which was tied to various controversies on stream. The incident that seems to be sticking out the most is when Alinity threw her cat on Twitch, something that took place back in 2019. She has also been involved in alleged favoritism controversies at Twitch, has been involved with numerous controversies with other figures, and has received a ton of flak for several actions like calling a waiter “racist.”
However, this does seem to be the vocal minority at play here. Alinity doesn’t give a more precise timeframe for her return other than a few weeks, but the number of fans welcoming her back far outweighs the negative comments. Fans excited about her return should keep an eye on Alinity’s social media, as it is likely that she gives a time and date for her Twitch return, or it’s possible she just appears on a stream with Mizkif or another of her friends.
Alinity is expected to return to Twitch in the coming weeks.
